Delete Your Marto Account
This page explains how to request account deletion, what data will be removed, and how long we retain certain records for legal and regulatory purposes.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Before deleting your account, make sure you have no active or pending bookings. Outstanding wallet balances should be withdrawn first. Once deleted, your account and data cannot be recovered.
How to Delete Your Account

Open the Marto app
Launch the Marto app on your mobile device.

Go to Profile
Tap the profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.

Open Settings
Tap "Settings" from your profile menu.

Tap "Delete Account"
Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account".

Verify with OTP
An OTP will be sent to your registered phone number. Enter it to confirm your identity.

Confirm deletion
Tap "Confirm Delete" to permanently delete your account.

If you cannot access your account, email support@getmarto.com and we will process your request within 30 days.
What Data Is Deleted
The following data is permanently removed from our systems upon account deletion:
- Profile information (name, phone number, email address)
- KYC documents and identity verification records
- Booking history and trip records
- Wallet balance and payment methods
- Reviews and ratings
- Device tokens and push notification settings
- All other personal account data
Data We Are Required to Retain
Certain data must be kept after account deletion for legal, regulatory, and safety reasons:
Retained data is held in a restricted environment and used only for compliance, fraud prevention, or active legal proceedings.

Processing time
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation once your account has been fully deleted.
